Michael Anthony Vitar is an American firefighter and actor known for his role as Benjamin Franklin in the film The Sandlot and Luis Mendoza in the final two Mighty Ducks. His acting career began in 1991 playing Arturo in the film Diplomatic Immunity and got a role in Everything You Wanted to Know About Puberty for Boys. His first TV series was Brooklyn Bridge playing the role of Antony Gambuzza followed by Sunset Grill as Lori Singer along with Peter Weller and Stacy Keach. He won an Award for Outstanding Youth Ensemble in Motion Picture for his role in The Sandlot as Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez.
He played Luis in D2 The Mighty Ducks, a family comedy-drama featuring Michael Tucker, and Emilio Estevez, and was successful in being a favorite in the 90s.
