Find the Best Farmhouse Tables for Your Home

farmhouse tables for your home

No rustic home can be complete without farmhouse tables in their dining room or kitchen. There’s no better way to have a family dinner or friends over to eat than to gather around an enormous table to share a feast. The farmhouse trend is strong and makes for such cute tables and dining rooms.

This post is a post all about tables of all sizes and colors or materials to help inspire you when you are looking to buy a new table. This post does contain affiliate links and I may earn a small commission if you choose to make a purchase.

Did you know the origin of the farm table? I totally did not either. I came across this quote from Country Living.

Farmhouse Tables. “Harvest tables,” common features of 19th-century cellars, were typically used for sorting produce. Built by farmers for their own homes — from inexpensive, readily available wood — these pieces are now valued for their sturdy construction and aged patina.

I have compiled a list of farmhouse tables for you to consider when looking to get a new table. Check them out below and let me know what you think. Save them to Pinterest for the future too!

Different Types of Farmhouse Tables

There are so many ways to decorate a farmhouse table for the seasons or everyday use. Depending on the occasion, time, place, atmosphere, etc. Whether casual or elegant, general or formal,  your tables should be able to influence the diner’s appetite and make them feel at home.

The first thing you should consider is the table. When considering a dining table, its shape and size are the most important since it affects the space in your dining room. The common types of dining table are generally made of wood. But popular farmhouse tables come in metal too! Below is a beautiful metal farmhouse table.

One of the most popular types of farmhouse tables is a two-toned version. Where the legs of the table are white and the top is left unpainted. This is the style of farmhouse table I love and currently have in my dining room! Below are some tables in this style to consider
