Beef Chili Recipe for Crockpot

I hope you have a big spoon at the ready, my recipe for beef chili recipe in the crockpot is, well, THE BEST! With it getting cold outside that means its Crock-Pot season. This big pot of spicy, rich and blissfully beefy chili is what to serve by the mug, bowl or trough.
In my family, chili is a winter staple and this easy crockpot beef chili is one of our favorite recipes. Usually, we eat for days and my husband doesn’t even complain about eating leftovers. SCORE!
Am I the only one who uses their crockpot even more during the winter? I mean, it’s great all year round – but there’s just something about throwing in all the ingredients in the morning and smelling it all day that just warms you up in the colder days.

Slow Cooker Beef Chili Recipe
My sister is headed to Lake Tahoe and in charge of feeding 25 people for one of their evenings they are staying and I immediately knew this recipe would e perfect for it! I shared it with her and she agreed herself after trying it. Which is one of the reasons why this is officially my first ever recipe post!
Yep first ever recipe post here at Hudson Farmhouse.
Rich and Hearty Beef Chili
Want to know what the best part of this recipe is?! It’s that you can add or subtract a few things and it won’t matter. The seasonings will work with many different items.
For example, I used one can of light kidney beans, dark kidney beans, and pinto beans. Last time I used black beans instead of the pinto and it tasted just as good! I wasn’t planning this recipe so I ended up using what I had on hand.
Another thing that will work fine is any type of bell pepper. This round I used a green and yellow bell pepper and guess what? Yep, you guessed it, it’s still the best-tasting chili ever!
To make the chili cook the ground beef in a pot till cooked. Drain the meat and add onions and bell peppers cook for a couple more minutes then throw it all in the Crock-Pot with all of the other ingredients. That’s it!
Cook it in an instant pot or a pot on the stove whichever you prefer I’ve tried them all but I like the crockpot with the liners it’s the easiest cleanup.
