Christmas Mantle Decor Made Easy
This project is quick and only takes a few materials. I honestly used all decor that I already had and got the eucalyptus on the side of the road. Making this Christmas mantle the cheapest project yet.
I live in California, and eucalyptus trees are everywhere. The only problem is we don’t typically have the cute silver dollar leaves here. They are longer and a lighter shade of green, but hey, they were the right price.
Supplies I used for the garland:
One long skinny faux garland
One faux garland that had small berries and pine cones on it too
A dozen small branches of fresh eucalyptus
Four command strips for hanging
Pine cones in various sizes

How to Hang Garland on Mantle
This part is so much easier than you would think. I added the four command strips to the mantle on the ledge. I just divided the mantle into quarters and put one in each. Mantle decor is huge right now.
Then I took the faux garlands and hung them up, and added them to the command strips. The command strips stick to the mantle and then have a plastic stretchy part that goes around the garland in hooks into the base. They held both of them easily.
Then I just added in the fresh eucalyptus everywhere. I wanted a full look and lots of fresh eucalyptus, so it looked more unique. After that, I added some pine cones to add more texture.

Knit Stockings on Mantle with Garland
Next, I added these knit stockings and some ribbon I had on hand and just tied them in a bow. Boom, easy peasy, and it took less than 15 minutes to complete.
Shop the knit stockings and command strips below. The stockings are only $14.99 from Target and are in stock.
