Art for Your Farmhouse
You know me I love all things design and home decor. Which is why I love Minted’s art and all of the fun options they offer. May it be a wood frame or no frame you can make their art fit your space perfectly. This post contains affiliate links but I promise all reviews and items are honest and hand picked by me.
“ This is where great design comes from.
Minted connects you with the best independent
artists to bring you endlessly fresh,
truly unique art, stationery, and home decor
you won’t find anywhere else.”
The collection of items they carry are modern and fit many esthetics. I picked out my favorites to show you and the first is a canvas print I have literally had in my cart for months now just waiting to purchase it (hello tax return). But I am not sure what size canvas to get because I am trying to finish the room I want to add it to. Click the photo below and it will take you to their site. There you can see the different sizes and photo frame options.
“I often drive along forgotten country roads. Sometimes I’m in search of a place to breath fresh air. Often animals. I connect with them and taking their pictures is a way to savor that connection longer. I want to share with others the emotions and beauty of otherwise seemingly ordinary animals. This print was from exactly that type of drive. It was a crisp day. I stumbled upon this grazing herd of long-horned cattle. I sat and observed them for a long while. Watching them interact. Watching them watch me. This particular cow was wary but kind and I was able to catch this picture before she rejoined her herd.”
Want to know my favorite reason why I am obsessed with Minted? It is because they support small businesses. As a small business owner and designer I try to spend my hard earned money in good places. They are mostly known for their wide range of cards and invitations. But they offer prints, photography, and drawings sourced from independent makers worldwide. Pieces range from $21 (unframed) to $605 (matte/framed). Artists have their own profiles with bios and links to all of their work, and Minted’s crowdsourcing option allows emerging artists to find a platform and earn money. VERY COOL!
As a designer I have always loved everything Minted offers. Their invitations and cards are the cutest adn always ahead of the game on style. Now that I am doing photography as well I will soon be adding some of my items to their site I hope. I have participated in many of their design challenges in the past. The work and creativiey are inspiraing and provides many hours of fun browsing.

Gosh I love these photos. The animal theme speaks to me on so many levels and I’m in love with windmills since reading Don Quixote. Admiring your taste as always ?

I love all of this art very much, but I’m a big fan of the pieces on Minted.com so I’m a little biased.
